The Ramp It UP! program is back. WCR has volunteered to coordinate with NEFAR to help construct wheel chair ramps for the needy.
We need 8-10 volunteers per build. It is tons of fun plus you are networking while helping someone in need! There are various duties involved with the projects and ALL skill levels are needed including a lunch sponsor. Congratulations to Audrey Lackie (2007 President), the 2007 WCR Board and the general membership for helping make this chapter a great one. The Jacksonville Chapter was recently awarded the Gold Level Winner place in the WCR Chapter Excellence Awards for 2007.
In the past the Jacksonville Chapter won The Pinnacle Award given in 1999 based on our 1998 membership campaigns (Sandy Holdren was VP-Membership in 1997 & 1998). Ann Clark was President in 1998, Betty Turner was President in 1999 & Sandy Holdren was President in 2000. Congratulations to all!
